Alter Bridge hit the road over the summer with Disturbed and Breaking Benjamin as support for a massive amphitheater tour, but now the band is set to headline their own North American tour in support of The Last Hero, their recently released album which we reviewed here. The tour kicks off January 21st in Mobile, Alabama and runs through February 22nd where it will rap up in the birthplace of grunge and Starbucks, Seattle.
Along the way, the band will make stops in multiple Canadian cities as well as Chicago, Philly, Boston, Vegas, LA and Atlanta, among others. The 20-date trek across the US and Canada will make its way to our area on February 2nd, when Alter Bridge invades NYC’s Playstation Theater. Artist pre-sale tickets for the run are currently on sale with traditional public on-sale ticketing and VIP Package offerings becoming available this Friday (Nov. 4) at 10AM local time through the band’s website.
The Last Hero debuted at No. 8 on the Billboard 200 Album Chart last month, bolstered by the lead single “Show Me a Leader.” The disc was voted by Loudwire’s readers as the October Release of the Month, with tracks like “My Champion,” “Poison in Your Veins” and “The Other Side” also helping to tease the album’s release.
